This photo was taken while me and my daughter were waiting to see the doctor for her first check up, just over a week old. I am a self taught photographer, with a great eye for detail. Being a new mom, my second born I might add, I couldn't help but take pictures of her little toes. Something so little makes my heart melt.Time
it was in the afternoon.Lighting
the lighting was pretty simple. I don't have a studio or light equipment just my Nikon D40 and simple black and white edit. I wanted everyone to see the detail in her toes, along with the more detailed blanket around her. This photo to me is in a way, where I started my journey with Photography. When looking at this picture I want you to see simple yet delicate. Having a baby girl was something so amazing to me. Having such a strong connection with my own mother, I wanted that with my own daughter. Looking at this picture just melts my heart into a puddle. I hope it does the same to others.Equipment
All I have is my Nikon D40 with 18-55mm lens. simple but takes some of my personal favourites.Inspiration
Being a mother. Once becoming a mother you notice the little things more, from tiny fingers and toes to being so happy your little boy picked a pine cone just for you! it makes you grateful for every little thing, and being a mother is what really inspired me to become more aware of my passion for photography. I've always loved taking pictures, I just needed a little push to point me in that direction. If you want to know what inspires others, take a look at their photos. That's what inspires Me.Editing
my photos are Photoshop Free. All I use is simple editing that came with my computer system. In my camera bag
My only camera, at the moment Nikon D40 with my 18-55mm lens and my 55-300 lens.Feedback
Try different angles and positions, always. sometimes you get the best shot while lying down. "I'm no Professional, just Passionate." -Samantha Wihlidal
