This picture was taken from our hotel room at Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada. It was taken early June 2014 after our trip on the Rocky Mountaineer. Looking from the lake side we stayed in the top room on the right hand corner and had views in two directionsTime

My Nikon D3100 was mounted on a tripod, with the aperture set at f6.3, ISO 100. The shutter speed was 10/1600 with a focal lenght of 180/10Inspiration

You have to wait till to the light is right, clouds not covering top of the mountain and a good reflection in the lake with still water
