This picture was taken from our hotel room at Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada. It was taken early June 2014 after our trip on the Rocky Mountaineer. Looking from the lake side we stayed in the top room on the right hand corner and had views in two directionsTime
The picture was taken after breakfast before the next part of our dive to Calgary and the last night of this part of our holiday before heading to Alaska.Lighting
The lighting was all natural being taken from our hotel roomEquipment
My Nikon D3100 was mounted on a tripod, with the aperture set at f6.3, ISO 100. The shutter speed was 10/1600 with a focal lenght of 180/10Inspiration
Just the beauti. of the view made we want to take the picture, its a once in a lift time trip as we live in Australia and will most likely not get there againEditing
The picture was just taken as a JPEG and no processing has been carried out, it's as we saw it.In my camera bag
My Nikon D3100, with two lenses 1n 18-55 and a 55-200. I always have my tripod and and two external triggers, one of which will take time elipce pictures. Have few filters including UV and Polarizing Filter. Since our trip I also have a couple of ND filters plus a few tri-colourFeedback
You have to wait till to the light is right, clouds not covering top of the mountain and a good reflection in the lake with still water
