Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in an old disused church in The Cotswolds, Gloucestershire, UK. The only light was the faint sun coming through the window. I noticed the piece of paper on the deep window seat & thought it added interest

Time

I took this on a drab morning with little light, so it struck me as the best shot to take in that lovely old church, with just the glimmer of light

Lighting

No lighting was used to take this photo

Equipment

I have a very simple camera, a Canon Powershot SX170 IS. No extra's, I know nothing about lighting, special effects. I just snap away

Inspiration

I love to take a different view of things. As this old church hadn't been used for years & was just left open for the history value, I only took a few shots. This one stood out for me

Editing

I don't do any post work on my photo's. I'm just a lil ol grannie who loves photography in the raw, as it were!

In my camera bag

Just my camera & a spare battery, just in case

Feedback

Take what you see, sometimes my best photo's have been taken on the spur of the moment. I just stand in an area & quietly look around me. If something catches my eye, I take it, simple as that1
