At least he's honest. Here in Colorado, the signs mostly say Need $$ for weed nowadays.

I think he would have been more successful if he had started out his sign with please, instead of an after thought. Years ago had a husband, wife, and two young girls in San Diego, Ca, that pan handled on the corner for month that I knew of, actually they had been doing it for years, and later found out they were taking in over $200,000.00 a year pan handling. I would have offered to buy him food, but I bet he would have refused that. Most do. Great shot...

Your right, some panhandlers here in Las Vegas have been found doing that. I wish I had the guts to do that.

Behind The Lens

Location

I was doing Street Photography on the Las Vegas Strip. This photo was taken by Bally's Hotel and Casino

Time

Around 2 pm. It was a partly cloudy windy Las Vegas afternoon.

Lighting

I shot the photo with out a flash in AV mode. I was trying for the best natural lighting on a Las Vegas winter day.

Equipment

A Canon EOS T5 with a 18-70 mm lens with a UV filter on the lens.

Inspiration

I could not believe that he was sitting there asking for money for weed and food.

Editing

I touched up the exposure a little and then I converted it to black and white.

In my camera bag

Mainly just my second lens which in this case was my 70 to 300 mm lens. I try to keep it simple.

Feedback

I try to keep it simple and shoot what captures my attention.
