Orangutan's Sanctuary, Borneo, Malaysia. This sanctuary is in a jungle and in a natural orangutan's habitat. Feeding platforms help them to adjust to independent life. After awhile orangutans disappear into a jungle and don't come back to be fed. The picture was taken in front of a platform No 1. But it was a fair distance from the tourists walkway. Orangutans share 97% of our DNA but they are on a brink of extinction. They are so deserving our care and protection.

Thank you. It was in natural sanctuary in Borneo. There are feeding platforms set up and Orangutans come twice a day to be fed. But with time they move further away into a jungle where more platforms are set up and there are no tourists. Later they manage on their own and are lost in a jungle....:-)
