Is this a natural rock formation and are there critters living all those holes ???

Hi Buzman. I was told it was definitely a natural formation. Very unique rock. In a middle of nowhere = Sinai desert...lol...I was there on a day trip. AND I only have 3 photos of it!! so glad this one turn up ok....I will never go there again...
