I took this photo just outside my home, because it was a beautiful day to practice playing my ukulele.Time
I took this photo some time in the afternoon, when the day was at its warmest. The summer air was comfortable, and the company of my ukulele was all I needed.Lighting
There's no better lighting than that which is provided to us by the sun itself.Equipment
This was taken with a Canon Rebel T3, standard lens. The camera was connected to my tripod on a 10sec timer so I could cozy up to my instrument for the shot.Inspiration
I had just recently acquired this ukulele as a birthday present, and a friend of mine had taken several pictures with her ukulele, and I absolutely loved them, so I got a picture of my own with my own instrument.Editing
I had to mess with the contrast and brightness a little due to the fact that it was very bright out that day. After adjusting those, I put a faint soft filter over the photo, and because I'm a fan of black and white photography, I also made the photo in black and white.In my camera bag
I always carry my Canon Rebel T3 with me, the lens it came with, and a standard tripod.Feedback
