Lil' Bit and I spent the day by a lake watching a Mother duck with her babies. Lil' Bit wanted to be friends with them so bad. He followed them around the lake, never barking or running at them.
In fact, This was the first time to see a duck. He was rescued from a puppy mill where he lived his first 4 years in a tiny cage.
It was as if he knew he had to be gentle.
Finally, it was as if they knew he was safe and they started coming up to the bank to visit.
Lil' Bit would gently lick them as if to say... Now your my new best friend.
