Location

This picture was taken in Richmond park, outer London

Time

Late in the morning

Lighting

Equipment

I used the Tamron 150-600mm mounted on my canon 6D

Inspiration

I have always been interested in wildlife photography, and I knew there were many stags in Richmond. I decided to take the day off and try my luck.

Editing

I used Adobe Lightroom as for most of my shots. Nothing dramatic but recovered highlights and shadows, as well as boosted up sharpness to recover some detail on antlers and fur.

In my camera bag

It all depends how long I'm out for and what I'm about to shoot. Whenever I take my full kit, I carry: -intervalometer -vixen polarie star tracker -canon L 70-200mm f2.8 -canon L 16-35mm f4 -Leica R 50mm f1.4 -Tamron 150-600mm -formatt Hitech firecrest ND4.8 -formatt Hitech ND grads -polarising filter -tripod
