In the south of England (West Sussex to be persist) me and my family set out for the regular weekend countryside walk. However, 2 minutes into the walk and I had reached the furthest point of my walk already. Convinced I had seen a mustelid of some kind I hid in the bushes with my camera and the rest of the family went on.
I was sat looking across a somewhat baron field and there seemed to be nothing in site. However a short while later and a flash went across the view through my lens. A stoat, but in it mouth it was carrying a tiny baby, eyes not even open. I was lucky enough that day to watch a mother moving its nest site one tiny kit at a time. A moment I will never forget.
