I actually took this photograph at my grandmas flat. Me and my girlfriend were staying their on our own for a couple of nights whilst my grandparents were away in Spain.Time
This was taken in the morning. It was one of the reason it was so cold and warranted wrapping up.Lighting
This really was a case of make-do. I had bought two soft boxes with me, nothing fancy, the cheapest I could find online. But I had left the covers for them at home. So with my girlfriend's help we pegged pillow cases over the front to soften the light.Equipment
I used two soft boxes and a bare flash gun. I also used my canon 70D and a nifty 50Inspiration
As we were wrapping up to go for a walk my girlfriend did this pose. Unfortunately for her that resulted in the wall being delayed for at least half an hour whilst I tried to recapture that moment.Editing
Yes, but only basic stuff. I found the white and black points and increased the highlights and clarity in the eyes slightly. All done using Lightroom. In my camera bag
Well usually I carry as many lenses as I can. Manly because I worry about not being prepared. I have my 70D, 100 - 400 mm L, 50mm stm, 105 sigma macro Mark one, sigma 10 - 22mm and a cactus flash gun and transmitter.Feedback
My advice would be don't be afraid to get close and less is more when it comes to the model. By which I mean the less we see the more we want to.
