Location
In my country, a social phenomenon called forced displacement occurs, this displacement has also affected fauna, and this gavilan is one of so many victims that it has come to cities because its habitat was destroyed. The photo was taken in the botanical garden of medellinTime
If I remember well, it was near 11 amLighting
I have always like the natural light. As the graphic designer I am, always receive bad pictures to make the works that my clients want, so I understand that light is the most important part in a good picture, so I began to force my self to work with natural light, so this way, I can be in almost any place ready to take pictures. The fact behind this is to master properly the ISO the speed and the apperture in your cameraEquipment
Am the kind of guy, who goes out with just my camera in my kangoo bag, always keep the batery full loaded, and ready to go. Just in some special cases, I open the flash, to give some luminosity extra, but always look to work with natural light, and if I need, look for somewhere to support the stillness of the camera, but I don't carry any tripodInspiration
Is the moment, when you see something that you don't see everyday, something that make your jaw drop, is when you should take out the camera and shot the pictureEditing
As I said before, I try to use natural light, and have a correct exposition, so this way, when I pass the image for PS, is not to much wath I have to tune... maybe some leves and contrast, but not too muchIn my camera bag
I grow up, with various uncles that like photography a lot, and they always have a camera and two or three lenses. But when I buy my first camera, I choose the bridge segment, cause it allows you to have a long zoom range and be lighter to move on to any place, so that is what I always have in my bagFeedback
Enjoy the trip, the walk, the landscape, always. Then, make the picture on your mind, try to guess the speed and the apperture you need, for the ISO you gonna use, after this, take the camera out of your bag and take the picture. Always try to be close to the subject, very close, but safetly
