Every bit of this composite was shot by me (I've been asked). The rock the women sit on came from a photo of a lion exhibit at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo's new African Adventure exhibit. The gulls were all shot near Monterey, CA, and most were individually composited in, and resized, before I re-built their shadows by a combination of cloning, handpainting, and dodging-burning. The clouds, ocean, and the coastal trees of the background were all shot on a recent 2,000 mile drive I took through Oregon and Washington. And the models, of course, were shot in my studio. Comments are invited, and welcome, even if critical.
