This marvelous glass votive tree stands year-round in the cathedral of Växjö, in Småland, heart of the glass-making industry in Sweden. This image was shot on Lussenatt, or St. Lucia's celebration, December 12. If you look closely, you can see a tiny glass Jesus, complete with halo, reaching out his arms.
