The photo was taken in Germany, Remscheid, where I live. I live in the forest, in a funeral forest.Time
It was noon, when we had a walk, with our animals and the camera.Lighting
In the forest, the light is always difficult, because it's mostly dark. The best places are too dark. There was a little clearing, between the blackberrys.Equipment
My equipment is NIKON. Always using my Nikon D4 with the Nikkor 50mm, 1.8 lense No flash or other thingsInspiration
The love to the nature, the forest and to my animals. The silence in the forest near my house and the beauty and character of my animals. I made a picture and stood up and that's where my owl was looking to me. So I emmediately shot the pic.Editing
I made only the RAW convertion in Lightroom. Perhaps a little bit colors in Photoshop but less post-processing.In my camera bag

No I don't have, because I am a falconer, working with owls and raptors. You need much patience with owls, till they trust in you and work together with you as friends. So, I think, a wild owl would never stay there with 50mm.
