Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo driving on the roads I normally take to work

Time

This was taken around 6:30a.m. Since I live on top of mountain the clouds often settle in low, and as you get lower down the mountain the clearer things become

Lighting

The lighting was perfect for that day, cloudy, but with enough light to make the trees stand out

Equipment

Olympus OMD, taken in enhanced mode

Inspiration

I am inspired every time this happens, which happens quite often, I have multiple shots of it with different cameras

Editing

No post processing was done

In my camera bag

Normally I carry a Canon D70 and the new Canon EOS, but I have Nikon 5200, and Olympus OMD and depending on what mood I'm in, I take certain ones with me everywhere I go

Feedback

My best advice for anyone trying to capture something similar is, get up early, notice the weather and what happens when, fog, low clouds and then when it happens, go after it. Leave for work early carry your camera or camera everywhere you go so when it does happen you have plenty of time to stop and get the shot!
