Location
I took this photo in the southeast coast of England at deal in thanetTime
it was about 10am I went for a drive to scout some places to shoot and decided to head to the coast, on arrival I just new I had to go under the pier, I was lucky in that the tide was going out, although it was winter so the air temperature was bitter.Lighting
I was practising long exposure and had no real expectations on how the image was going to come out, I tried several shutter speeds until I was happy and just went with it.Equipment
at the time I was shooting with a canon 70d sigma 17-50 f2.8, big stopper filter, remote shutter and manfrotto tripodInspiration
I was inspired by minimalist photos that id seen on viewbug .Editing
all post processing was done in adobe lightroom, but to be honest I always try to get it right in camera meaning post is kept to a minimum. In my camera bag
now days I have a 5dmkiii a 6d, sigma 70-200 f2.8, sigma 24-70 f2.8, canon 100mm macro f2.8.Feedback
