I took this photo in my hometown Sarnia. I was walking towards my local coffeeshop when I saw this amazing scene.Time
This was around 6pm nearing the end of my 2015 summer. What an amazing summer that was. Had just gotten back from my Pelee island escape and right before I went to Toronto for another get away.Lighting
The lighting in this photo was simply being at the right place at the right time. This isn't a photo I could simply come back any time of the year and take it. Just an example of the stars aligningEquipment

Simply the beautiful natural lightingEditing
Yes I laid out a gradient map for the colours, and then some dodge and burningIn my camera bag
My bag has changed much since last year. I no longer lug around that 40 pound 5dm3 with that massive 24-70 f2.8 zoom. Nowadays Im rocking the sony A7rii paired with the Sony-zeiss 35mm f1.4 or the amazing 55mm f1.8 for my everyday carry. But depending what I'm doing that day I might carry around the Zeiss 85mm f1.8 Batis, Sony 90mm f2.8 Macro, or the Sony-zeiss 16-35mm f4. Im not a big fan of zooms anymore, but that Sony-Zeiss 16-35mm ultrawide is something else.Feedback
Take walks right before sunset. Always have a camera on you. You dont always need to be moving towards a destination. Take the path less travelled
