Location
This was taken in Siem Reap Cambodia at Angkor Thom almost 2 years ago when I attended my first photo workshop.Time
I believe this was taken between 5pm and 6.30pm as we were surveying the best location for a sun set shoot.Lighting
This image caught my attention because the almost setting sun shone nicely on the face of the sculpture and it was golden & shimmering.Equipment
This was shot with my Nikon D5200Inspiration
The overlapping of the faces is unique and these sculptures are large to fill up a photo.Editing
I use Lightroom to process all my photos and did the same for this piece as well. As there are not many colours, there are not much that I have edited, mainly the correction tools. In my camera bag
My camera comes with a kit lens. Besides a blower, a cleaning cloth and a spare battery, I carry with me a ND8 filter in my bag everytime I go out taking photos. I have not invested in any lens because I am still relatively new to photography and have not really found my genre. Yes I do carry my tripod as well.Feedback
You really have to SEE the image from your heart. Initially I did not even notice that the faces were over lapping! But once you see it, it was an amazing discovery. Stand in odd places and be very patient as you will need to know which direction the faces are facing.
