Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in small village on island of Krk. I've spent my summer holidays there since 2006.

Time

I reckon it was after my family and I finished lunch and decided to walk around the place and look for beautiful old houses and architecture.

Lighting

Lighting is 100% natural in this photo.

Equipment

For this specific photo I used my Canon 5d mark iii and canon 24-105mm f4 lens.

Inspiration

The attractive old building and beautiful sky.

Editing

Yes! I shoot my photos in raw format so the processing is necessary. I used Lightroom just for some manual retouch such as adjusting exposure, colours and contrast. I did not use any presets or filters.

In my camera bag

I normally carry my canon 5d mark iii with canon 24-105mm lens and analog camera, zenit ttl, which I love. It's my father's old camera which he used when he was in college, actually he was then the same age I am today. He introduced analog photography to me and taught me a lot about it and photography in general.

Feedback

The beauty is in the photographer's eyes. So don't follow the rules, there is no right and wrong in taking photos. Find your style and stick to it, believe in it.
