During a spring snow storm, my husband and I hiked to the bottom of Bryce Canyon; we really enjoy experiencing the serenity that hiking through falling snow accompanies. To spend time enjoying the weather even more, we set up our double nested hammock in order to rest above the cold, wet ground. However, not too long after we laid down, we heard the howling of wolves echoing through the canyon. As quickly as possible, we jogged up the slick trail and out of the canyon before nightfall.
