Photograph was taken on a stroll along a road near village of Sveti Juraj ( St. George ) in Croatia, a pictouresque road that goes along side with the Adriatic SeaTime
I am fascinated to acertain degree with linearity in all that surrounds us - 6pm and the Sun alrady has begun setting, I liked the shadows the metal fence created, it matched the lines of the road marking, and they all seemed to be following/merging in one point. thankfully the perfectly clear sky just enhanced the linearity turining into gray backdropLighting
as I have said above, the sky was clear, Sun begun setting, it was kinda mellow warm and drawing inwardly, making me see the lines opposed to the simple background.Equipment
Lens used was Canon 24-105 mm F4 L attached to Canon Markiii - handheald kneeling :)Inspiration
the road and the walk in methaphorical sense was the intention behind it - empty canvas the road and the sky, only lines drawing in, pushing forwardEditing
there was almost no post processing done, but some smaller alteration to contrastIn my camera bag
usally there is couple of lenses, depending on the mood, how close I want to get or not: 24-105mm F4, 50mm F1.8, 200mm 2.8 L, Canon Markiii, and a teleconverter 2xFeedback
intentions I guess play big part in what a photograph was initially thought as, but, what will it become, is completely different matter. how you perceive things, where it will take you, look for lines, try different angles, and walk the road of life
