Llanelltyd Bridge - near Dolgellau, Gwynedd.
The 'old' bridge at Llanelltyd is likely to have been constructed during the second quarter of the 18th Century.
However, there are references to a bridge crossing being in existence at this point in 1400 which would have likely served the nearby Cymer Abbey.
Such a crossing would have been important not only for the monks from the abbey but for trade in general.
