I took this photo at an event called the 'Fort Litton Festival' in Brisbane Qld AustraliaTime
It was 1.30pmLighting
This gentleman was under cover so there was no harsh lighting from the midday sunEquipment
I use an Sony A850 with a Sony 70-200mm G series lens, I do use a twin flash systemInspiration
This gentleman always looks great with his mass of hair and beard just new it would make a great B/WEditing
The post processing consists of correction for Hilites, Shadows, Levels a bit of Contrast and Clarity then into Nik Silver Effex for the B/W treatmentIn my camera bag
It depends on what I am going to shoot for the day what I have in my bag. A Sony A850 camera with the Sony 70.200 mm lens and the Sony 28-70mm lens are the main lenses that I use along with a flash, ND filters and remotes, plenty of cleaning equipmentFeedback
My main piece of advice is don't get people to pose, stand back a little and wait till a moment arises that gives the person some character or emotion
