Location
This photo was taken in the small town that I live in called "Churchtown". I am slowly learning the tricks and trades of photography as I am still a novice but my favorite pictures that I tend to take are of sunsets.Time
I remember looking outside one mid-fall evening and seeing all of the orangey, red colors filling the sky. At the time I didn't have a license so I asked my grandma if we could go for a drive around the neighborhood, we stopped in front of a field where the trees were off in a distance. I took the shot and just remember thinking how the trees looked like there were on fire from the way the colors all belended together so beautifully.Lighting
The lighting was all natural I didn't add any extra filters or touch ups to the image. I wanted to show that even in a crazy world that we live in there is always a beauty that we tend to never really look at when we are busy with our normal day to day lives.Equipment
I took this picture with a Canon EOS Rebel T5 DSLR with a 18-55 mm lens, and a lot of natural light.Inspiration
I had just recently got into photography a little earlier that year and I was just starting to find a version if photography that I liked to do. My grandmother and I always tend to drive around together and one evening we were driving around my neighborhood when the sun was starting to set. We happened to stop at a field where the trees they were bare from the on coming winter. The way that the colors of the sky melded together in the hues of orange, red and yellow reminded me of a fire. It was just such an inspiring sight that it compelled me to take it.Editing
I do not edit my photos when I upload them they are as naturals as when I took them.In my camera bag
I typically have my camera, an extra battery and SIM card, a lens cleaner, a small tripod and a portable printer just in case I happen to be at a party where they would like to have the pictures right after I take them.Feedback
The best advice I can give is to follow your heart. If you see something that inspires you or makes you so happy that there is a slight sparkle in your eye then go for it. There is no time like the present and who know when you will see something like that again. Just walk around your neighborhood or a natural enviorment and wait, you never know what you can find when you look hard enough.
