Location
The photo was taken in my backyard.Time
The time of day was around sunset. Maybe a little bit earlier.Lighting
I wanted this image to look very vibrant due to the unique colors on the spider. This was taken in the shade so I did use my flash even though it was in the daytime and it brightened up the body but still blended in with its surroundings and didn't look overexposed because it was in the day time.Equipment
For this photo, I just used my Canon T3i with my 75-100 mm zoom lens and my built in flash.Inspiration
Honestly, we had just moved into this house and I wanted to explore the property and I ran acrossed the spider and said what all of us photographers say,"This would be a great picture!" So I ran inside and grabbed my camera and shot it.Editing
For this image I used an editing app on my phone called "Snapseed" and it's a free app and it works wonders. In my camera bag
In my bag, I have my camera with a battery grip that holds 2 batteries, an extra battery, my zoom lens, and my kit lens.Feedback
For uniquely colored objects, you really want to make the photo vibrant to capture all of the colors and make them stand out.
