I was involved in an air show here in Canada, it was veterans appreciation day. A local collector has a few vintage planes one of which was a WW2 Spitfire. An old airman was watching it intently and we asked what he was interested in it so much. He said he flew 125 missions in one during the war. We asked if he wanted to sit in the cockpit....he said ....I SURE WOULD, we hoisted him up and he sat at the controls and tears streamed down his eyes. He said he never dreamed he would sit in one again. It was beautiful. And no camera grrrrrrr.
