Location
This photo was taken at Queuille in Auvergne, France.Time
The photo was taken just after sunset, October 30, 2015 at 6:04 p.m.Lighting
If I took the photo during the blue hour it's beacause during the day, there is alway a shadow on half of the meander. If there no more sun there no more shadow and all the colors in the scene can pop out.Equipment
To make this picture I used a Canon 6D with optical Canon EF 24-105 mm f / 4.0 L IS USM mounted on a tripod Vanguard Alta Pro 263AT SBH100 Vanguard and a ball.Inspiration
I go regulary to the place to captur it with different light. For this photo I wanted to capture the meander during fall to have beautiful colors in the trees.Editing
I started to crop my photo to have a panoramic format then I only warm up my white balance and increased contrast. In my camera bag
In my bag I take my Canon 6D with a 24-105mm f4 L USM lens, a lamp torch (to light my nightscapes), a headlamp, an intervalometer. A Lee filter Big Stopper, a polarizing Lee filter, extensions rings (to make macro) and a Sirui carbon tripod. When I go outside to make photos I also take a bottle of water and some foodFeedback
If you have a big shadow on your landscape go back to the location to shoot before sunrise, after sunset or during a cloudy day, there will be no shadow and all your landscape will have the same light.
