The Saarschleife (German for Saarloop) at Cloef in Germany is really worthwhile visiting.
The Saar is a river. The Saarloop is nearby the hometown of the Villeroy & Boch factory: Mettlach. Wellknown for their ceramics. There is a museum (in an old monastry) with a small beautiful park and outlet as well.
We try to go to Cloef in every season. And everytime it is different. Amazing what the Saar meandered in thousands of years.
