I chatted with the owner who previously owned this boat and who had given me his catch of herrings when I first met him. I asked where his boat had disappeared to after years of it being moored here and told him how we missed it. He told me only last week a stranger had given him a painting he'd done of the lovely old boat.

Couldn't wait for the gull to swim into the light as the sun was setting fast!

Normally I dislike dressing up dogs, but in this case I had thrown a cape over my thin, ex racer greyhound bitch to warm her and this was the result..

Not the easiest subject to catch sitting still, but I manage to get several shots of her sunbathing
