Behind The Lens

Location

On a family vacation to Glacier NP, we drove the Going to the Sun Road to the Logan Pass Visitor's Center. From there, we hiked through snow and across glaciers for about 1.5 miles to the Hidden Lake overlook. We saw many female and baby mountain goats that slowly moved away from us, but this guy was holding ground. And I didn't argue!

Time

Mid afternoon, in mid July.

Lighting

Natural light.

Equipment

Canon EOS Rebel, with 35-90 mm lens.

Inspiration

Fantastic view with a mountain goat!

Editing

I did use Photoshop to get rid of someone bolder than I, hiding amongst foliage to the right of the goat.

In my camera bag

Just took my camera. Had my 11 year old daughter and wife along.

Feedback

Gotta get out of the car and hit the tails!
