Downtown Reykjavik has some amazing views along the water. The first time I tried to photograph the sun voyager there were dozens of people and the sky was clear with no clouds in sight. Luckily the following day was completely different. The mountains in the background were being eaten alive by the clouds and I knew this was the perfect moment to capture. I used a Lee Bigstopper to make the scene very dramatic, which was equivalent to what I was experiencing at the time.
