Location
The photo was taken in Jakarta, Indonesia. It is a penthouse named Da Vinci building.Time
I remember exactly when I took this picture. It was Sunday, around 7 AM. My dad and I were jogged on our way to Bunderan HI (one of the famous landmarks in Jakarta. I've always wanted to take a picture of the building so I stopped and took a minute to take out my iPhone 4 and take a picture of it. I had no idea the result was pretty amazing.Lighting
The building is already majestic with all the classical exterior details so I let the building stood naturally without any lighting.Equipment
Like I said, it was a quick shot. I just used my iPhone 4. No other equipment that I used that day.Inspiration
I love architecture, that's what I learn every single day, and I do really love it. I always love buildings and I've been watching this building for my whole 20-years life but I never had a mind to take a picture of it and I finally did it; it was one of the best photos I've ever taken. I didn't even regret it. Da Vinci building is one of the prettiest buildings in Jakarta when it comes about the classical exterior.Editing
I didn't do any major post-processing.In my camera bag
I usually have my Sony NEX-7 in my bag when it comes about traveling, but in the end I am just a 20-years-old girl who just so attached with my phone. So, I use my iPhone SE daily to take a picture. The pictures the iPhone SE delivers that makes it a corker; it’s also dead easy to use. It has Live Photos feature – pictures that can also be viewed as short videos, which I love.Feedback
I think when it comes about taking a photo of an architecture, all you have to do it as natural as possible. It can be pretty with or without lighting, so you can use all the equipment you have, whether it's a pro camera or only your phone/smartphones. All I want to say is you can be a good photographer with or without a pro camera.
