Thanks for entering this super shot in my challenge. A definite runner to the final hurdle , but alas not quite the finisher out front. Good luck in future challenges and comps.

Behind The Lens

Location

Laid flat on my tummy on the lawn, in my garden.

Time

Mid morning before the dew disappeared.

Lighting

It was a dull morning but I wanted to catch the dew before it disappeared so thought I'd take a chance with the light and it worked out!

Equipment

My Fujifilm Finepix S2980 my husband bought it for my wedding anniversary

Inspiration

I am always fascinated with the detail in nature which is why marco photography is my passion. I saw these tiny mushrooms with the dew on and thought I've give it a try. I love to experiment with different angles and what would look interesting in the shot and show how tiny this mushrooms were. I took loads of shots before getting the focus just right and was so happy with the result.

Editing

In my camera bag

As a full time mum and amateur I only have a basic bridge camera.

Feedback

Take your time. Be prepared to get right down on the ground and experiment, take lots of shots as sometimes you think you've taken an awesome one and then you get home to look at it on the pc and it's not great!
