The 'Wau Bulan', literally translates as Moon-Kite is a national symbol of the province state of Kelantan of Malaysia. Traditionally speaking, only men were allowed to fly the kite for various important events. In the present day however, its functionality is more decorative, and could be handled by both men and women alike.
