I had always wanted to try and capture hot air balloons, but never seemed to be in the right place at the right time. As I was driving to work early one morning, I saw some off in the distance. I thought.. hoped.. I could get somewhere for a few shots... as I got off the highway and onto a side road, I realized they were coming almost directly at me. Of course, my camera was in the trunk and not setup yet. I quickly got setup, and this was one of the first shots snapped. Sometimes, you get lucky.
