I used the Canon 6D and Canon 50mm F1.8 STM lens as well as a Canon 430 EX2 flash angled to the right to bounce off of a white reflector. This was shot at around 1pm on a bright sunny day in my tiny garden. I used an aperture of F2.5 to blur out the background. My cats usually end up being test subjects as I work out different lighting patterns that I can use on my next portrait or wedding shoot....
