Autism is a condition where sufferers have difficultly in understanding social concepts and 'norms'. One of these is 'personal space'. Sufferers often inadvertently invade other people's personal space and this can make them feel uncomfortable. Andrew, my friend in this photograph, has Autism and was more than happy to assist with this photograph, to raise awareness and help fight the stigma attached to conditions like these. He is also a great photographer.
