Love it, he looks like he got caught doing something he shouldn't. Voted in animals with funny faces.

Location
This bright eyed owl was taken in Calgary, Alberta, CanadaTime
This image was captured in the early morning.Lighting
I shot this little fellow from a lower angle which kind of makes him look a little more interesting, I think.Equipment
A tripod was used to ensure a steady camera.Inspiration
I love to photograph birds. Whether I have taken the photo, or I am viewing photos taken by others, I am particularly captivated by owls.Editing
This shot was taken with my Pentax SLR before I gave in to shooting digital. In my camera bag
I normally do not carry a lot of equipment. I have my basic camera body, usually only a couple of lenses, and the very basic filters. I don't want my photography outings to become a "chore" with packing too much stuff, and trying to remember to pack everything every time. I find a lot of good photo opportunities are out there without getting too burdened down with equipment.Feedback
I love that photography is such a personal expression. I enjoy viewing photos that others have taken almost as much as I enjoy taking and seeing what I have captured. Each photographer has a unique perspective, and every photograph is different. If I was to give advice to a new photographer, it would be to photograph what you like, the way you see it and feel it. Appreciate, but don't try to imitate, the great photos that fellow photographers have taken.
