We were in the kitchen of a friends house.Time
It was mid morning, almost noon.Lighting
The mid-morning light was coming into the kitchen window, which was perfect. Natural lighting is always my favorite to work with. With the kitchen being all white, the light bounces nicely around all the objects.Equipment

I was at a friends house doing a lifestyle photoshoot with her and her kids. She is a baker of cakes and had one of her recipes published in the "Clandestine Cake Club" book. She wanted a few shots of her and the kids making the published cake and asked me to come try and capture some of the moment. Her daughter was a doll and just wanted to eat the icing off the spatula. I had put the camera aside while we began to clean up the mess when the little lady began to lick all the icing off. Because of the saying showing and her determination to get all the icing off, she just looked to adorable. I grabbed my phone from my pocket and snapped a few shots, this was one of them. I honestly don't remember if I did or not. Im pretty sure this is straight off the iPhone. If I did edit this, it would have been to brighten the image.In my camera bag
I normally have my canon rebel 2Ti with the kit lens.Feedback
Don't be afraid to use what you have on you at the time. Like I said, I had my camera just a few feet away, but had I gone to grab it, the shot probably would not have turned out the same.
