It was a wet rainy day but the sky didn't have much detail in it. In this location you are not aloud to use tripod, otherwise long exposure would be perfect. I tried to convert the photo to B&W and that worked better for me.Equipment

Now I'm using Nikon D5300, 18-55mm but mostly I'm using my 50mm 1.8. Tripod, Nikon SB-700 flashgun and for lanscapes ND1000 is a must for me!Feedback
Walk around the location and don't take photos yet. Look for the best composition first with your own eye, not through the viewfinder.
