Thank you all for your well wishes but I have absolutely no idea what to do or what this means. I up-loaded some of my photographs and forgot all about it. Thank you all once again, with a sincere heart Mark

Behind The Lens

Location

Mossel Bay, South Africa

Time

Late Afternoon

Lighting

I wanted the light to catch the surfer and the waves. Because of the angle of the light I was able to get more out of the action.

Equipment

I use a Pentax K s2 with a sigma 75 mm to 300 mm zoom at maximum zoom, f. 10 at ISO 1000 an a film speed of 800 ISO.

Inspiration

I love taking action photographs and surfing is a challenge because there are so many factors to take into account so that a good photo may be produced.

Editing

I increased the contrast and softened the image by 10%

In my camera bag

My camera 75/300 sigma, 35/80 Pentax and a 25/55 Pentax. A 500 sigma. 2 speed lights and remote triggers.

Feedback

Use auto focus, keep the subject in your frame an shoot at the the moment the surfer crests the wave. Keep your shutter speed as high as possible and your stop above F10.
