Location
I took this photo at Sam Noble Museum, one of my favorite museums in Norman Oklahoma. They plant the native plants and flowers to attract the monarchs and various butterflies on their migration route. I am a self-taught photographer and enjoy taking photos of nature and birds on my walks.Time
I took this photo around noon. Butterflies were everywhere and love all of the native plants and flowers.Lighting
Nature provided the lighting and no modification was done to the photograph.Equipment
This was shot with a DMC-FZ150. My favorite thing about this camera is the 24x zoom.Inspiration
I love the color contrast between the berries, the leaves and the butterfly. I also love the crispness of the butterfly verses the bokeh of the background.Editing
NAIn my camera bag
I have a few lenses but typically keep it simple.Feedback
Nature photography is all about angle, lighting and amount of photos taken. I try to take a minimum of 5 photos from various angles. You never know which one will look the best.
