The day I captured this image will always stick with me. I was doing dishes at the kitchen sink and outside the window I spotted this HUGE beauty fluttering about the flowers in the back yard. I quickly grabbed the camera (hoping that I had remembered to put the sd card back into the camera) and Elmer Fudded it outside to quietly sneak up on it. I was graced with several minutes of it's time, and was able to get several shots before it moved on to other pastures.
