Heading up Boreas Pass the view down into the South Park valley looking east.

This is fairly late in the season and the trees are just about done with their colors. Several areas had already lost their leaves.

Colorado's high country is loaded with spectacular views and planning your fall travel is relatively easy. Colorado's weather can change, so definitely be prepared.

Numerous scenic by-ways allow for a leisurely travel day or one that is a bit more rustic, such as Boreas Pass.
