I use a regular hot shoe flash for this photo.Equipment
I use a Canon t5 with a tripod and a remote so i could take the full phase of the "blood moon". I have a kit lens 18-55 and it worked out very well as you can see.Inspiration
I seen the blood moon was going to be happening and I wanted to see what i could capture with my equipment.Editing
A small amount of editing on Photoshop CS6.In my camera bag
I carry 2 kit lenses, a inexpensive hot shoe flash, a remote with that I have a Canon T5 and a Canon 50d. I do have a fixed 50mm yougo lens I purchased from B&H photos for portraits and 2 tripods.Feedback
This is purely trial and error, focus,focus and focus some more. Periodically i did check my equipment through the live view to make sure i was getting the full phase of the "blood moon".
