Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in a village called Pannal which is in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.

Time

Taken during the afternoon.

Lighting

I love to take pictures in the wood, the lighting in there is perfect whatever the weather, soft and muted.

Equipment

I use the a Canon 5D Mk III (because anything bigger is way too heavy for me) and I always use my favourite lens for taking these shots, a Canon 70-200 mm 2.8.

Inspiration

Over the last year I have developed a fondness for taking pictures of children as the possibilities of "magic" are endless when creating the finished image.

Editing

Yes, that is the best bit. I used a mixture of Photoshop CC, Lightroom and OnOne Software, OnOne Software is a fabulous tool!

In my camera bag

I only take out my camera with one lens when doing these type of shots, which I have mentioned previously.

Feedback

This image ended up being the best I have created within this particular child's shoot entirely by accident, I just played around with various things and it just happened, therefore let your imagination go wild and see what evolves!
