Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in a young couple's home in hungarian village.

Time

It was a day in early fall. The photography took about one hour, during this time I took photos in the garden, and in the house.

Lighting

When I was taken this photo, I didn't use any light equipment. I used only the light entering the west oriented room's window.

Equipment

This was shot on a Nikon d5100, with an 18-55mm f/3.5 lens. No other equipment was envolved.

Inspiration

My friends asked me for some baby photos. I wanted to take intimate photos, so I met the couple in their home.

Editing

There weren't suitable conditions, so I had to use some post-processings. I croped the skirts of photo, and I retooled the colours to black and white.

In my camera bag

I have three lens and a nikon d5100 body in my bag. The first Nikkor lens is a 35mm f/1.8, with this I take photos about people, this is my favorite piece of kit. The second lens is a 55-300mm f/3.5, with this I take photos about far things (eg.: Moon, birds, deers). The third lens is the basic lens 18-55mm f/3.5, with this I take the macro photos by the help of frame adapter.

Feedback

The set of the light will be appropriate. I think it is very important. If we set the lights for perfect, than we can reduce the post-processing.
