Taken on the same night as my last upload, this long exposure was done in the freezing cold on a camping trip to Mavora Lakes just out of Te Anau in the South Island. I figured I'd do something a little different to a load of star shots so got my trigger out for this, I lit the foreground rocks using a torch shone through my t-shirt to diffuse the light a bit more and make it less harsh.
It would've been nice to try a composite of 2 different focuses, one for the rocks and one for the landscape and stars, maybe next time!
