This shot was taken on a brisk spring morning. In the pacific northwest, you never know what type of weather to expect...one minute it could be raining and the next you wonder where the clouds went. This is a great example of that, i remember not evening planning to take anymore pictures as i was on my way home from shooting another location. When i drove by the waterfront however, i noticed how the clouds were looking in the sky yet could see sunny brighter skies in the background. I immediately parked , ran out and snapped a few photos...i could already feel rain drops so i knew i had to be quick. I got what i felt i needed and ran back to the car as it just started to downpour right on top of me and my camera. As soon as i got back to my car i drove home to edit with care and excitement!
